Life without kids.....

A Veterinary Dental Conference was a good "excuse" to get away to Maui. Martins came for awhile too. We all went up to Iao Valley for some site seeing.

Mumsie decided to try golfing. She was good at it. There will be no more "guys only" golf trips after this. (This was her birdie putt after putting her tee shot on the green.)

Then came scuba. This photo is out of order, sorry. More scuba to follow......
Martins came golfing too.

Back to scuba.....A great day for diving. We saw tons of fish, tons of turtles....
an octopus......

and a sea-monster named Gary.
Dad just hanging loose at 60 feet.
Mom came too but was shark bait on the surface.

Dad tried to move in on Bryson's crush......Twilla the surfing coach. But she's too young for him.

Mom did lots of gardening..........
Dad did more golfing..........
And then the old guys tried to kill themselves at Big Beach.
Gnarly wave dude!
He survived to tell the tale.

Then it was Captain Fuzzy and Polly Boy on the Die Hard. We had to be at the Lahaina docks at 3:00 am to catch our deep sea fishing adventure.
We caught a wack of Ahi and one guy even caught a 300 pound bull shark!

Fresh sushimi anyone?
Dad was in Sushi Heaven. Pass the Wasabi. Hey, this is our family in 5 years!

Stacey's Superfantabulous Grad Trip!

Our Satcy Princess has been wishing (ever since she saw Cindy go on a grad trip) that when she got old enough to graduate, she could go on a Disney Cruise and to Disney World with a couple of her friends. So she saved up her $$ for about 6 years and well we all know what happens when you wish on a star...........
Sometimes your wishes come true! Stacey, Brittany, Kylie, and Bryson and I met dad in Orlando over Spring Break. (That is after 1 cancelled flight, 1 unexpected stay in Chicago, and just making the shuttle to the cruise ship!)
Our first stop off the cruise ship. Atlantis Resort. Beautiful aquariums, underground ruins and amazing water slides and pools. We had a fun day.

Some of the waterslides..........we liked the lazy river that had a surprise wave around one of the corners the best.
Part of the underground aquariums at Atlantis.

This is one of the pool and hotel areas. This is truly one of the most massive resorts I've ever been too. We forgot our sunscreen so I walked up to the shops (there's a whole mall inside) and it took me 45 minutes to get back to dad and the kids!

When we first got on the boat, the weather was really unsettled and windy. After we ate lunch, Bryson and dad were playing ping pong as the boat pulled out of the harbor and Bryson slipped and cut his arm. What is it with Bryson and Disney injuries?!

Always a fun part of a Disney Cruise.........seeing what your maid will make the towels into! This cool monkey borrowed a pair of our sunglasses.

It was pirate night on the cruise. We all dressed up in our pirate hats and had a great time, Arrgghh!

Dad talked all the kids into trying Escargot. As you can tell, Stacey didn't enjoy it too much. Bryson wasn't going to let the girls show him up!

We lucked out and got to do something we've never done before..........we happened to be coming up from the beach at Castaway Cay right when they were calling for people to come participate in the International Crab Races. They only chose 8 teams. Bryson chose the name of Crabby Canuck for the Canada team. We made it to the finals, but then our little Crabby Canuck ran out of steam. Or maybe the sidewalk was just too hot!

Go Team Canada!!
It was sooooooo cool!! They had the Flying Dutchman from the Pirates movies in the harbor at Castaway Cay. We got really great photo's with Captain Jack too!

After the cruise, we spent 4 days at Disney World. Ok, so the next few pictures are especially for Landon!

Tanning on the sidewalk while we waited for the parade to start at the Magic Kingdom. The sun felt pretty good to us!

It looks like the perfect end to a Superfantabulous Grad Trip and this blog entry would have to be fireworks. I sat on the bench in front of the castle for 4 hours to get this great view (your welcome Stacey)!

4 down and only one grad trip left to go!!!! Halelujah!!!
